I am planning to go for the cayenne pepper diet and searching & reading more before starting it. One of my friend have done it for 6 days & lost over 10 pounds. I was wondering if we need to go for 10 days or can be done in different time frames?

hmmm.. that sounds very tricky there. i would think you should continue the current laxative. and maybe you should continue drinking both the tea and the salt water.

Well! I have to say the diet has been great.I’m on day6 and feeling good.I have to be honest by the second day I’ve became very hungry and cheated for half of a butter roll lol but, I got back with it.I became very tempted for the pizza with pepperoni that my coworkers had ordered, but refuse the night before.Though my hunger has stop by the third, my mind still think of the foods that i love.With a flatter stomach and four days to go I’m giving this diet the thumbs up.

I am on day 4 now and have only lost 3 lbs. Not sure why not more. I drink 8 glasses of the lemonade a day. Doing the laxative tea at nite and salt water flush in the morning. I’m gonna try and stick with it but getting frustrated. Also, when coming off of it, you have to drink orange juice but I can’t drink orange juice-it makes me nausea. Is there anything I can substitute instead of orange juice?? Thanks if anyone knows!!

@Jo : You can substitute with other fruit juice as well. For the easing out, it doesn’t really matter whether you drink orange juice or other fruit juices.
By the way, just curious, you mentioned that it is getting frustrated, why is that so?

Thanks for the advice for the juice. So apple juice is fine to drink?? And it was getting frustrating because this is so challenging to do. I’m on day 5 now and have lost 4 lbs. now. It seems that I’m losing a pound a day which is great but I really need to lose 4o lbs and there’s no way I can stay on this for that long. I’m half way through the 10 day process and not sure that I can make it to the 10 days. I’m really gonna try. I have 3 kids and cooking for them etc.-very hard to do. I really need to lose this weight but I guess I’m looking for a miracle!! Any suggestions??

Well! its been 2 days off from my diet and proud to say I’ve lost 23lbs.Im very proud of myself it hasnt been easy.I want to say for anyone on there 3rd and 4th day stay encourage my hunger stop after the 3rd day everything else became a mind thing.I started my Chicken Broth but I’ve jump into Tunafish to soon for most but it was “Delicious”.I plan to start back in December before the Holidays ,but now i feel great and everyone notice.P.S Craig
