Can I still follow the diet if I am pregnant or planning to get pregnant?

Hi reem, it is not advisable to do the diet when you are pregnant. If you have yet to be pregnant, you still can go on the cayenne pepper diet. The reason being you would need to go on a fast and when you are having a baby, there may be complications.

As with most diets, lots of water is recommended. Can you drink water while on this diet?

Yup, drinking a lot of water is recommended with this diet. Don’t worry about it.

I know you are supposed to add 1/10 of a tablespoon of pepper but how much is that?

Hi Nikkita, I would say it’s like a small pinch. Some people would prepare the whole day of lemonade concentrate (around 6 servings) so they would add half a tablespoon.

why does it have to be grade B as opposed to grade A?

leonakalei: As long as the maple syrup is natural, you don’t have to worry whether it’s grade a or b. By natural, we mean organic.

HELLO. i WOULD LIKE TO START THIS DIET BUT I AM A DIABETIC. CAN I JUST USED THE CAYENNE PEPPER AND LEMONADE AND LEAVE OUT THE MAPLE SYRUP?

You can use the special maple syrup that is made specially for diabetic. I’ve saw it somewhere in the supermarket. I’m not sure if there’s one over in your country. For type 2 diabetics, you can use agave syrup.
You can go to this site which provides the recipe for diabetics. http://themastercleanserecipe.org/master-cleanse-recipe/alternative-master-cleanse-recipe
