Cayenne Pepper Diet Directions
For an effective Cayenne Pepper Diet, there are 3 phases for you to follow. Watch the cayenne pepper diet directions video below.
The first phase is known as the warm up phase, where you may want to get yourself ready for the entire cayenne pepper diet because the 10 -days is a very tough journey. You would need to withstand the hunger as the only thing you can drink is the lemonade mixture.
The second phase is the cayenne pepper diet itself, with the optional salt water flush or non caffeinated laxative tea.
Once you have finished the diet, you will go on to the 3rd phase – the post cleanse.
We shall go on and take a look into pre cleanse – The pre cleanse or warm up phase is all about getting used to the hunger. To do the pre cleanse would actually benefit you and help you to complete the cayenne pepper diet. However, this is optional steps and you don’t really have to do the pre cleanse.
For the warm up phase, you may want to start with salads and whole foods just 2 days before you start the diet.
And just 1 day before the diet, you may just want to drink fruit juices and soups. Once you have finished the pre-cleanse, you can start into the actual cayenne pepper diet.
During the 10 days cayenne pepper cleanse, for a start, you would need around 40 organic lemons, organic cayenne pepper powder, distilled water, at least a bottle of 64 Oz. Grade B organic maple syrup and also salt water flush or non caffeinated laxative tea.
For 1 serving, you would need 2 tablespoon lemon juice, 2 tablespoon of maple syrup, 1/10 tablespoon of cayenne pepper powder, and 10 oz of distilled water.
As for the salt water flush or the laxative tea, you may find salt water flush too strong, non caffeinated laxative tea may be good enough. Most of the people do the salt water flush or laxative tea in the evening time.
As for the post cleanse, after you have finished the diet, it is important for you to not return to your normal diet immediately.
For day 1, you would need to start off with something liquid like fruit juices. Day 2, you may want to drink soup and vegetables juice. And for day 3, have soft food like porridge and fruits before you go on back to your normal diet.
That will be all for the entire Cayenne Pepper Diet directions.

tea on the first day or everyday tea. O

@Layla : Sometimes the cayenne pepper is not strong enough to help you in elimination.

I have a question about the laxative tea. Why do I need that when the cayenne is flushing me out. I have taken laxative teas before and I am not really interested in dealing with all of that anymore…especially at work. Plus it seems like the tea messes up your normal elimination process after you haven’t takne it for awhile.

@keisha : sushi? I dun think so. where did you hear this wrong information from? Other than that, you are correct about the sea salt water, cayenne pepper lemon drink and laxative tea in the night.

January 28th, 2010 at 7:40 pm
@Daniela : You would need to drink at least 6-10 servings a day! You can drink more if you like. =)

Hi, how many times a day can you drink the 1 serving of cayenne pepper, lemon juice and maple syrup?
Thanks!

@maribel arango : I’m afraid that you can’t eat anything while you are on the diet. You can only drink the lemonade mixture that is according to the recipe, the salt water flush, the laxative and distilled water. That’s all!

January 7th, 2010 at 3:20 am
@Shawn : Definitely you can do it for 3 days but you must know that the benefits won’t be as great as when you do it for 10 days.

can i drink water on this diet or only the lemonaid?
September 20th, 2009 at 7:01 pm
@Emma : the cleanse is not meant for losing weight in the short term, but it will definitely help you in the long term to achieve a healthier body.
September 13th, 2009 at 5:52 pm
Yup, just drink the juice and that’s it.
You will certainly lose weight but for your stomach, I think you need to do some exercises with it.
September 13th, 2009 at 2:55 pm
hey. so with this diet do you eat? or just drink the juice and thats it?
do i loose weight to make my stomache flatter?
July 22nd, 2009 at 5:16 pm
Hi Aurial, if you are planning to lose weight with this cleanse, then you are heading off to the wrong direction. Yes, you can lose weight with this diet, but you can only lose 20 pounds of water weight on average.
It’s best that you do a 10 days first before you embark on the 15 days cleanse.
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:43 am
Hey Emma
Im in desperate need of losing weight, if I follow this real strictly will it help me lose atleast 40 pounds?
Im prepared to do anything and can you do this for longer then 15 days to lose this amount?
July 13th, 2009 at 8:48 pm
Hi Caroline: Yes, you can lose 15 pounds with this diet as most of the people have done so. However, this diet is not a weight loss diet but rather a cleansing diet. And weight loss hence is just a by product of this cleanse.
And you won’t lose the 2 inches off the tummy. But it would definitely make you more healthy and eliminate all the toxins in your body such that your body would work at its optimum level and you may lose the 2 inches in the future.

June 25th, 2009 at 5:41 am

June 17th, 2009 at 6:09 am
Yup, sometimes the cayenne pepper may be hard to swallow down the taste. It’s 7 days for now, 3 more days to go! hang in there crystal!
June 16th, 2009 at 6:40 am
i’ve been using em for 6 days now and all is well. i couldn’t find cayenne pepper in liquid form so i went with the capsules. i did this diet b4 and i feel the same except i dont have to down that gross cayenne pepper
June 16th, 2009 at 1:20 am
Crystal: Seriously I’m not 100% sure about the cayenne pepper pills but 1 suggestion I would say is to break the pills and measure how much is it exactly going to fill a spoon.
I would guess it would take around 1 capsule would do it?
June 15th, 2009 at 10:59 pm
Hi, i will be starting the diet tomorrow but I tried it with the cayenne pepper and just didn’t like the tase. I heard you can substitute with pills, how many would i take a day?
June 7th, 2009 at 8:03 pm
Hi Lucinda, you will probably need to make around 6-10 servings of lemonade for a day!
June 7th, 2009 at 10:24 am
This sounds like something that would make me finally reach my desired weight goal. I can’t wait to try it.
By the way how many times a day do you use this mixture?
